that's a great hook. Reading some of the other reviews made me scratch my head. Perhaps old orders received a different product? Photos in other reviews do not seem to represent this one (the one I received looks exactly as advertised) and there is no 'About' part as described by another reviewer. I will say that some of the pictures show a base with rounded legs and what appears to be a central screw holding everything together. This base has wider, more oval legs and is held together fairly securely at the bottom with four screws. . It arrived well packaged, all parts intact, no rust, all parts heavily painted and gloss black. The instructions are self-explanatory and even suggest the order in which the parts should be assembled. The middle post is bolted fairly securely to the bottom post (it doesn't just sit in it, as a previous reviewer claimed, a large double ended screw is included for that purpose) and it's quite sturdy. The screws are fixed with an Allen key, which is included in the kit. The screw holes are tight and it takes a little elbow grease to get the screws in, but that's a good thing as the screws don't go anywhere once inserted. I was pleasantly surprised by the size and durability. this hanger, especially at a great price. I put it together in about 10 minutes and now it's holding my 10lb bag, two hats and 5 jackets pretty well. I intentionally didn't hang things the same way just to see if they would wobble or tip over and it didn't. I am very happy with my purchase!
