I'm 55 years old and have had a lot of tool magnets but it's pretty weak. Some tools will slip off, especially if they aren't 100% steel or iron (things with handles or cases). Don't get me wrong, they'll hold your sockets and wrenches well, but forget a hammer or anything with plastic or rubber handles. It's 1/16" thick and doesn't stick where (like I wanted to store them). I had to turn them upside down and hang them by protruding keys and even then they slipped down a bit. I had some magnets years ago (more expensive , mind you) which could take pretty much anything you throw at it if it had some steel or iron in it including hammers and tools in thin cases. Of course one of these was double the price of those 3 packs, so I guess you get it , which you pay for.In my case I put one right under the other for a little extra holding power.
