Review on πŸ•οΈ Texsport La Paz Single One Person Hammock: Ultimate Camping and Travel Companion with Travel Bag by Jay Arnold

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cheap but ends fall apart easily

Overall this is a comfortable hammock - I'm 5ft 11" and 170 pounds and it supports my weight with no problems and I can lie comfortably at its length. The only issue I have 3 stars is that the ends of the hammock seem to be held in place with a continuous piece of string (at each end) that threads them through the grommets on the hammock. The cord is knotted around the end (where it forms a loop where it attaches to a tree/pole) but the knot isn't really secure or tight enough that after a few days the end of the cord pulls away from the knot begins to loosen, unravel and cause one side of the hammock to lose support. The solution is to manually tie the broken cord back into the main knot, but this requires threading the cord through the existing knot again without completely untying it.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not all fit
