After buying 2 large bags of cherries from the store, I realized how painful it is to separate the stones. I have three young children, two of whom LOVE cherries and want me to carve cherries for them to eat. After sitting there with a knife, cutting them in half and digging out the pit, I realized how pitted cherries suck! I want to buy a cherry pit and was surprised that there is such a thing as a 6 cherry pit! I have never heard of it. I read the reviews on it and thought the good outweighed the bad so I went for it. Man I'm glad I did! This thing is amazing! The most "difficultโ thing is to tear off the petiole from the cherry. You just drop them, close the pit and bam! You have 6 pitted cherries! I've read reviews that said the pits get stuck, I've had a few that got stuck but they fall off very easily and it's still way better than pits individually. My 5 year old wanted to try it. It was a little difficult for him to press, but it doesn't require much effort for an adult to do so, so it's not difficult to use at all. I cleaned a bag and a half of pitted cherries in about 10 minutes! Half of these disappeared when my kids ate them as fast as I could swallow them! Overall a great product and works great!
