Review on ⚙️ Hi-Torque Chrome Starter by Proform - Model 66259 by Chris Horton

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Suitable for beginners

Made in Taiwan. One of the small screws holding the solenoid to the body wasn't all the way down and upon inspection the screw was all the way out so I'll have to go to Home Depot and find a shorter chrome screw that will fit properly. Of course, there is no quality control in the factory before the goods are shipped. The rest of the product looks ok but I haven't tried starting the car yet. If I had to buy again I would probably try to buy a product made in the USA even if it doubled in price. The bolts that came with the starter were not chrome plated.

Pros
  • Starters and parts
Cons
  • Large and bulky
