They aren't sealed. That statement wouldn't really be a big deal with other ratcheting wrenches. But this type isn't rebuildable, and there isn't an oil port on them. That means, the first time I used them in a wet environment, the ones I used began seizing up. The 10MM was particularly bad. It would lock up randomly during use. Oiling it by dribbling some light oil through the miniscule gap between the body and the ratchet core didn't seem to help for more than a day or so, but plenty of rust would come out when I'd free up the ratchet and the oil would seep out the other side. Eventually, I flushed it out with brake cleaner, then injected some high end lubricant into it, and that helped a lot more, but it's still ratcheting badly. The 13 and 15mm are starting to act up now, too.But even then, these wrenches have saved my butt a lot. I have issues with my dominant shoulder and my spine, so the less movements I have to make with a hand tool, the better. And this really helps.
