For the price I think these shelves are quite sturdy and cute. Installation wasn't too bad. Only took me about 45 mins and that because I measured, leveled, measured, leveled, and again to make sure LOL! I used the included dry wall anchors without a problem but I did not find them to be self drilling. I drilled pilot holes first. I centered the shelf on the stud on our wall as I had to for the positioning I wanted. The directions are just pictures and diagrams so much is open to interpretation. As you can see from the photos I am not putting much on these so I think for these purposes it's fine. My biggest complaint is the stupid white EXCESSIVELY ADHESIVED stickers I had to get off each self. I could see someone damaging the finish easily. I used a gentle hand and a razor blade then Dawn Powerwash and a plastic scrub sponge to get the adhesive off. However overall I am pleased with the outcome.
