We needed some light over a dark corner in our laundry room. The aim was to pay as little as possible to bring light into the corner. This track far exceeded our expectations and was an unexpected delight considering the price. Installation couldn't be easier. It has two attachment methods (magnet or clips). We used clamps, but I imagine a magnetic approach would have worked just as well. The only catch is that the cord is short. Next to it I attached an extension cord with a longer cord and that's it. The whole family loves how bright this little power strip is and we make great use of the remote control. Being able to set it to turn off after a time delay is really nice. I always set it to 15 minutes when I go to wash and then I just forget. It works by itself. The only thing that would be even better is being able to turn it on with a push button delayed shutdown. It takes two button presses to get the desired effect (on and then 15 minutes). Well, two button presses for awesome and unexpected features are worth it. I'm thinking of buying another one for another dark corner of my basement.
