These are some downsides: As was just indicated, the primary reason it was purchased was so that it could play videos on a projector. When I plugged it in, everything seemed to work, but the disk does not see it, and that appears to be the end of the story! It turned out that you needed to download an additional program, which just took a couple of minutes, and everything functioned properly after that.
