Review on πŸ”§ Premium Black Universal Projector Ceiling Mount by Kanto P101: Solid Steel Construction for Easy Installation by Shane Mack

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It handles many different mounting options. The height adjustment feature is very good compared to most.

Installation is ok, the lack of ceiling screws was also unexpected (cost saving step?). But the block itself seems to work fine. With my Epson 2030 I couldn't place it well balanced in terms of center of gravity, so I have a slight (1*) tilt left to right on the screen, not noticeable on the projector itself. I can get it back on center, but after a in a day or two it has that tendency again. My reason for only 3 stars is that this serves its purpose but could use a better seat retention system. The ball works well but the pressure is uneven. In some places it's so tight I can barely move it, in others it's wobbly (maybe why can't I get rid of that left tilt?). If I tighten it any further, I can't adjust it at all, other than it still reverts to its left-to-right tilt. This is my first projector and ceiling mount so take whatever it's worth.
