I have had this lamp for 24 hours now and I absolutely love it. I couldn't afford Starfire glass for my tank, which is why my glass has such a pale green tint when you look at the edges of the glass. With the 15k bulb that came with the light, I always had an off-white color in my light with the actinic on. When I turned off the actinics, the light looked very pale yellow. I installed this lightbulb and I love it! Pure white light with a slight bluish cast, no actinics. I use 2 blue and 2 purple 24W Actinics. Blue can replace all shades of purple because this MH gives a beautiful blue color. Good price. Highly recommended.
