A very good fan in every respect: airflow, sound intensity, vibration and efficiency. Very suitable for solar powered applications. Works GREAT with my 100W, ()12V panel, but also works with much smaller panels. When - is connected to black and + to blue, the airflow goes to the wires, the screen is facing you, as in the photo. To change the direction of the airflow, swap the wires AND the fan, otherwise it won't blow much air. A nut holds it. Mine creaked in one direction at low RPM so I swapped cables and fan blades. The engine seems to be of automotive quality, designed for difficult conditions. I use it in my greenhouse. Does its job well and will run a variety of applications. I recommend buying.
