I bought this to separate my two bettas in a 10 gallon aquarium. They could still see themselves through it and it caused them a lot of stress. And one of them finally found a way in. (Though I still don't understand how.) There are fairly large gaps in the wall between the glass and the railing. And there's no way to minimize it because of the suction cups. So I filled in the cracks with wooden sticks. It worked for about a month until my aggressive betta found a way. 3 times in one day and I still have no idea how she did it. For this reason we bought her a separate pool.
