Review on Vicks Humidity Monitor Moisture Levels by Johnathan Hegie

Bought 2 - love the fact that the thermostat has a sensor that determines what humidity level is best for normal breathing and cough/cold - sadly none have the last held for 5 months. I wish I had 2 simpler versions that I bought at the same time as these - they've held up. I could google my own comfortable humidity level for using humidifiers in kids' rooms. They are located on a dresser in both bedrooms - both started failing when turned off and I had to push them to turn them back on. One fell on the carpet when I was moving the dresser and wouldn't turn on again. My cheaper - simpler one, used in the living room, was flayed by my toddler and is still perfect - where, how can this one not withstand almost any movement!?
