These small portable fans with blades release more air than "safe" fans with no visible blades, and most of these types of small fans only have one for about 12 -$15. These 2 really are a great deal! And they work great. when the batteries are fully charged. The only problem is that ALL fans of this type (all appear to be made in China by the same manufacturer, just different brand names) have very limited battery life. They say they last up to 4 hours on the lowest setting, but I've found that regardless of the setting (some have 2 speeds, some have 3 speeds) they won't last an hour before needing a recharge. Best USB power sources (computers, iPhone adapters, car cigarette lighter plugs, small handheld batteries said to put out up to 2 amps) --- takes 3 to 4 hours! Almost all have a red light to show they're charging, and the red light will turn off or turn blue when they're charging so you know they're charging. Good. It just takes a long time. This solution, TWO fans, is the best! When one of them runs out, use the other while the first one charges up. But. They only get about 1 hour and now both need to be charged for 3-4 hours!
