I was not expecting too much from this brand, but these socks performed better than I expected. Great job Thirty48! I wear this type of sock exclusively with my boat shoes, however, I purchased from another vendor about one year ago and the socks always slid off my heel and went under my foot.BUT not these. I spent the day walking the streets of NY and they did not slide off my ankle once. I am not sure if these would stay up with running or exercising. If you are wearing these with med-dark brown boat shoes, the color should blend pretty well. I am tossing out my 3 pair of the other brand and replacing with these. I didn't realize it at first, but my feet weren't hot or sweaty, so maybe the material is better than I thought. I bought the 6 pack with 3 brown and 3 black.
