Review on Hayden Automotive 2784 Premium Fan Clutch: Unparalleled Cooling Performance and Reliability by Michael Gupta

1997 Suburban 7.4L/454 -- Pleased that the failed clutch wasn't so bad that it had to be replaced immediately. The first thing I got was part number 2748 in a box labeled 2784. Of course it was the wrong part (think one for the RAM sensor). The second was the right part and has been working flawlessly for a few weeks. A simple replacement from my year has a split fan cover and the fan and clutch are easily accessible after removing the top half of the cover. So apart from the hassle of returning the wrong part and the long wait for the right part, the clutch is like the original and works - minus one star for disappointment.
