Perfect for my 90's K1500

Perfect for my 90's K1500. Turns on for about 2 minutes when you first start the truck (very loud) but after it turns off it whispers

Clutch Fan Clutch

This is a quality fan clutch. I didn't need it but bought it anyway. Hayden has been making products for a long time. The quality of their products has not deteriorated. But this is how I know I have a well-made fan clutch.

Won't separate - clutches

This fan clutch will never separate. Coolant temp is great, but it never goes out. I can literally do 1-3 transfers per wot and it will never work. I wish Revain had an easier return policy otherwise I would have returned it.

Made in Korea Suitable for fans and parts

No longer made in the USA despite the company's website stating that their products are made. I called Hayden and the technician I spoke to was surprised that my part was made in Korea, he put my work on hold and came back with confirmation that the part has now been received. Returned.

I will update if anything goes wrong but I know my old one needs to be replaced.

Installed on Chevrolet 89. Installation was easy (4 bolts on water pump and 4 bolts). I will update if anything goes wrong but I know my old one had to be replaced as it was blocked, this one already seems better. I also got a 'Heavy Duty' recommendation from a mechanic friend of mine as I live in Arizona. I don't know if Regular, HD or Heavy Duty was previously installed as it came with the truck.

It's all about the timing

1997 Suburban 7.4L/454 -- Pleased that the failed clutch wasn't so bad that it had to be replaced immediately. The first thing I got was part number 2748 in a box labeled 2784. Of course it was the wrong part (think one for the RAM sensor). The second was the right part and has been working flawlessly for a few weeks. A simple replacement from my year has a split fan cover and the fan and clutch are easily accessible after removing the top half of the cover. So apart from the hassle of…
