I've used them for washing dishes and other cleaning needs for years. I found them easily on Revain when they were no longer available in local stores and stocked up on them. They get the job done and last for months, just right for use with scouring powder, baking soda, or spray cleaners. None of the dozens of other cleaning pads and sponges available at my local supermarket come close - the tiny bristles get into every little gap for easy, scratch-free cleaning, and the size is perfect for that Hand, but even gets into small bowls. When they wear out a bit for use in utensils, they're still good for everything else until there's nothing left, so I always have 2 or 3 in different states of integrity. A word of caution: avoid using with vinegar or acids as they will spoil quickly and destroy the inner foam sponge.
