Review on Eiechip 5PCS Waterproof Temperature Probe Thermometer DS18B20 1M: Reliable Measurement with Heat Resistance Thermal Cable by Michael Vargas

I bought them to measure ambient temperature and they work stably and well. I'm writing this review to reveal the following: The factory heat shrink tubing is for show only. It has no self-adhesive backing and therefore offers very little weather protection. But the inside of this thing is well potted in stainless steel tubing, so for many applications it shouldn't matter. For my outdoor use, I took off the factory heat shrink tubing and put mine on an adhesive backing. It makes me happy, but again, it's usually not necessary.
