It works, but it's not the best option.
This clutch does what it's supposed to, but it's nowhere near as good as the others out there. Especially if it happens on a mini bike or go kart. It slips like crazy at the slightest torque. Use Hilliard's clutch instead. Hilliard Heavy Duty Centrifugal Clutch - 3/4" bore, 12 teeth, #35 chain
