Teenage lunches stay HOT in an Ice Block Lunch Bag!

I have 3 of these for my sons in high school. They LOVE canned food because their food stays hot until lunchtime (I cook them with hot water as the instructions recommend). The built-in spoon works great and the wide opening makes eating easier. It holds quite a bit of food. What works for me: - I use a glass measuring cup to heat water in the microwave for 2 minutes while I start heating the boys dinner on the stovetop. Carefully pour hot water into the food container and screw on the lid. Heat (or boil) more water to fill the jar and let the hot water sit in the jar for 10 minutes. - When I have a tasty and warm meal, I pour the hot water from the food jars into a pitcher (for later use). , because it is good water) and immediately put the hot food inside and close the lids. - When you put a block of ice in the lunch bag, put the block of ice on one side of the bag. Place a cold drink, yoghurt, etc. next to the block and place a glass of hot food on the opposite side of the bag. I try to keep him from touching cold dishes by sandwiching dry snacks in between, but I honestly don't think it's necessary. I've put in chicken and rice, ramen, macaroni and cheese, shrimp with garlic sauce and all that. were still hot and tasty at lunchtime.
