When buying, you need to clearly understand - you pay 80-110 thousand for a specific macro lens. Using it as a "regular" portrait lens is complete nonsense. For this there are: Sigma 56mm Contemporary, Sonya 55mm, Sigma Art, more expensive Sonya, etc. etc. It all depends on the wallet. But this glass is a 90mm macro glass with practically no autofocus and only for a certain range of tasks. If you already have βstandardβ glasses for landscapes, portraits, widths, but you have an extra plus or minus 90 thousand in your pocket and you donβt know what else to please yourself with, you can safely buy this glass. But if you only have, for example, a 55mm prime for portraits and 23mm for landscapes, then it's better to buy something other than this glass. And this glass - later, when you have at least 5-6 other glasses on the shelf. This is an addition to your collection, but not its main player. Learn it.
