I ONLY gave this product 5 stars because it is well made and looks like a quality product. However, it will NOT fit in a side or corner toilet. I have a mechanical engineering degree from Clemson University and I cannot get this product to work properly without major hardware modifications. In order for the flush handle to flush the toilet, the lever attached to the flapper valve MUST move from DOWN to UP. This product can only do this when the handle is installed on the FRONT of the toilet cistern. When this product is installed on the SIDE handle, the lever attached to the flapper valve will move SIDE (not UP and DOWN). Since the SIDE direction contains a small UP and DOWN component, the lever moves significantly from the BACK to the FRONT of the toilet tank, as well as UP and DOWN by about 1/2 inch - enough to open the flapper valve wide enough to close flush the toilet. . Like I said, I could probably take some vices and bend and twist my arm just enough to make the necessary UP and DOWN movement to make it work. But I don't, for obvious reasons. After further researching Revain, I decided to try the KORKY STRONGARM TANK FLUSH GRIP. The video that came with the pen looks promising. At least it shows the UP and DOWN movement and not the twisting movement that I get with this product. Again, this handle is well made, but I would only use it in the FRONT mounting position.
