Very strong brass and steel/aluminium handle? This is the second installation on this toilet in 3-4 years. The other was exactly the same and the only flaw was that it had a weak point in the handle where the handle connects to the body where it actually broke in two. I find it very unusual and strange as it is very heavy and appears to be of good quality. I'm not sure how it happened, but it happened during the flush. It wasn't abuse so you have it. Good grip with good weight and solid feel. However, after installing it, I noticed that the seat was not tight and the handle wobbled more in the socket than I find acceptable for a good toilet. I'm pretty sure it's not the installer's fault and tried to fix it myself with some #6 neoprene washers on the brass screw where it contacts the handle (neoprene so no contact noise from metal to metal). Good: This is a very nice handle. saw length. The instructions ask that you test the flush after you cut the arm - at this point it will be a bit late if the cut is too short. Bad: The spring return mechanism is very weak and doesn't return the lever to its original position, which keeps the water flowing. I ONLY gave this product 5 stars because it is well made and looks like a quality product. However, it will NOT fit in a side or corner toilet. I have a mechanical engineering degree from Clemson University and I cannot get this product to work properly without major hardware modifications. In order for the flush handle to flush the toilet, the lever attached to the flapper valve MUST move from DOWN to UP.
