When I received a set of these speakers I was a little disappointed to find that they didn't have a tweeter! The ad says "2-way", which I think should include a separate tweeter. The ad must state "Double Cone" to avoid misunderstandings. Revain is a fantastic problem solver which is why I give them 10 stars for how they handled this situation. Hats off! For what they are, they are great! I wasn't expecting great sound from a waterproof speaker but I was blown away! They don't have the high end I wanted but honestly they sound really good! Turn up the high frequencies and they come alive. The bass is the same as most 6.5 inch speakers. The sensitivity is excellent, the mids are even and don't sting in the ears. All in all a good choice for all outdoor applications with low power consumption. We'll find out. I wanted a set of campfire speakers. I planted them in the lids of 5 gallon buckets, filled each bucket with half an old pillow stuffing, snapped them together and Vala! no water gets in) Cheap, rugged, portable speakers you can forget to take home without worrying about dew or rain ruining them.
