My lips became extremely dry, flakey and irritated in a way that I never experienced before and being a long-time user of another lip balm, I never thought it could be that brand that could have been causing the problem and thought that I probably needed to go to a dermatologist just to see what was happening. I decided before making an appointment, to try this instead and like a miracle, this balm cured, yes cured, the issues that I was having with my dry flakey lips in about a week and I say cured because now I don't even have to use it every day to keep my lips from getting dry!I will say however that if you are expecting to feel a "moisturizing" lip balm that will simply glide onto your lips, this will not do that and I feel it drags on the lips, but it's putting on lip balm, not hiking Mt. Everest so you'll be fine and soldier on, but your lips will be moisturized but it won't feel that way (if that makes sense.) I also like the fact that it does not have a scent, taste or heavy texture at all, I have tried balms that I had to throw away because of the scent, taste or thick waxy texture and in this case, less is indeed more!
