Outside dimensions are 1/16th shy of a typical 2 " receiver resulting in a loose fit
The dimensions of the 2" receiver part that goes into your hitch is about a 1/16th of an inch too small. This causes excessive side-to-side and up-and-down movement. I welded a few pieces of steel to a side and the top to shim it to the correct dimension to achieve a proper fit.I like the unit overall, but wish it was properly sized from the factory.
- Very strong great for my Polaris side by side
- The added length may make it difficult to drive in narrow or winding roads
