My old man (7+ years), but the reliable Optiplex suddenly wouldn't start anymore. After some research and diagnostics, the PSU seemed to be the culprit. Dell used to sell a refurbished PSU, but the delivery time was 2-3 weeks. Instead, I ordered and received this device much faster (and slightly cheaper) through Prime. It doesn't appear to be OEM, but it was easy to install and works as advertised (for over a month). I deducted a star because the power supply fan seems to be significantly louder than my old one. It's not bad, but noticeable. In general I am satisfied.
