It just works. I can say that it will be very durable compared to cheaper solutions bought before (used until they broke). The suction cup base design is good - small footprint but it really sticks. I have used this on my 74 mph bass boat (Puma), on my golf cart and on my GX470. So far it has worked flawlessly. The only gripe is that it can be difficult to position the phone holder at the correct viewing angle, but that's relatively minor and will likely be corrected by purchasing an additional anchor component. All in all a wonderful product. Not cheap, but not insanely expensive either if it works well for a few years. If you look at this product, just get it. I bought a few other cheaper solutions while looking at this product. I should have bought it from the start! I'm actually going to buy a second one so I don't have to move it between vehicles all the time.
