Returned after a full week of trying to fix the T-valve fittings. I have a high opinion of the Toto, but I can't justify spending $420 to buy something with an obvious installation error. I can't even rate a product based on actual usage when I've been through so much heartache trying to install it. 1/2" side hose connection. Alternatively, you can try finding a 7/8" MIP to 3/8" compression/male adapter. Rather than looking for such a valve online or at hardware stores, I highly recommend forging your search or machine shops. There is no such combination of adapters. What they could do was simply install a 3/8" x 3/8" tee to their custom 1/2" hose fitting. That would solve the problem nicely. I've tried to find my own tee in these sizes (which really isn't too much of a hassle) but due to the construction of the bidet hose it's hard to find anything that fits. Now my apologies I have to return all the other parts I bought to try it out.
