I admit it; I'm addicted to flashlights and lanterns. But, hey, I'm a 24 year veteran of the fire service and the one piece of equipment I use regularly, whether EMS or fire call, is a good flashlight. Being able to see is paramount in any circumstance. So, when I saw these little lanterns, I figured I'd give them a shot. I have paid more for a single lamp than for these four and that single lamp proved to be hard on batteries as well as unreliable. These lanterns, however, exceeded my every expectation! Easy battery installing (trust me, I've dealt with so many types of lanterns and sometimes the weak link was the battery installation), easy use, compact size, variable light depending on how far you open the light area and the hook/handle top is very convenient. And let me tell you, these little lights are bright! I have used these in my attic, basement and tiny home all with success. I gave one to my brother and he loved it during a 3 day power outage for his home(I don't think he thought it much of a gift when he got it, but that has since changed!). It is now 5/2018 and I am seeing similar types of these lanterns everywhere, but all are costing $20.00 per single light! When I purchased these, they were $20.00 for four; a significant savings. Long and short of it, these lights are the best bang for your buck and you will not be disappointed! Get some for yourself and to give
