I bought this docking station not only to increase the number of displays on my laptop but also to increase the total number of ports on my laptop overall. This device has 6 additional USB 3.0 ports, 2 HDMI ports and 2 display ports that can be used with a laptop or PC. It was very easy to set up and behaves like any monitor extension for any other PC or laptop. In my case, this was a great way to connect my two gaming monitors, audio mixer, keyboard, and mouse to one hub. There were no lag or stuttering issues when playing video games that require high performance, so you don't have to worry about using it with a gaming laptop. Being able to come home and plug one cable into my laptop to work or play games instead of having to plug in 5 different cables is EXTREMELY convenient. This dock is definitely worth the price and is very useful!
