The price of these bulbs is not that bad, the order came in well before the expected date. I use several of these lamps around the house for night lighting. They give good light for visibility and won't hurt your eyes when going from a dark bedroom to a hallway, living room, etc. White hurts! I've had a few that expire faster than others and keep them on 24/7, but for the most part they last a very long time. I've had many that have lasted a year or so with continuous use. I would highly recommend them, especially if you're older, have poor eyesight at first (an unfortunate circumstance for most of us baby boomers) and you REALLY hate banging your pinky on the damn coffee table while getting out of bed at 2am seek afar. in the dark. Oh yeah. and ORANGE is also very difficult to find in stores, so a definite PLUS!
