Nagging Bathroom Grout Cleaning Task Management For Over 80s

Cleaning tile grout when you can't crawl around the floor, or are mildly arthritic is a pain, literally. So when you live alone, clean dirty grout in patches, as a simple maintenance task, not an overwhelming chore. When you're over 80 and need to clean grout on a bathroom floor, you need to do it on your feet, upright, and in sections. The expandable handle of this light; but heavy duty, grout brush screws into the brush head in seconds. Spray a section of the bathroom floor, say four square feet, along a dry floor's tile lines with a foaming spray cleaner like CLR Brilliant Bath, (I live in an extremely hard water area), then brush grout lines with the brush oriented with the pointy end facing away from you, back and forth. Then wet a paper towel and throw it over the patch of grout you cleaned. Rub the paper towel over that patch with the brush handle extended to your comfort level until the paper turns dirty as it can be in that section, then throw it away. Do another patch when you feel like it, next or next week.Cleaning grout this way is extremely fast, section by section. You don't have your mom looking over your work, like she did when you were nine, so take it easy and pat yourself on the back for working smart.
