Review on 🔪 Freud SD208 8-Inch Premium Dado Blade (No Longer Available) by Giles Lacoste

Excellent set. It's measured in a few thousandths if I'm hitting anything over 1/4 inch, just on the small side, so I have to hold on to it. The small size chart is damn close and easy to use. The packaging/storage is a plastic case that works great. I wish there were instructions but basically it has pads on one side with blades and then pads on the other side with choppers. quite an awful noise on my table saw when it's running. Disadvantages: - The surface that is cut when using the notch set leaves very small grooves. This doesn't affect my projects yet as my notches are inside, but that is if you have any of them. It needs cleaning - the cut leaves two small cuts at the corners of the groove. If you raise the saw so that it needs to cut 1/4 inch, the entire center is exactly the same, but at each corner of the cut there is a small corner that's slightly deeper in the shape of a triangle (blade). If you have open dados, you need to cut off the last part a bit and shave in place. It's not perfect but for 1/3 the price of good sets I can't complain.
