In the photo, the model shows us how the pants on the lower level slide sideways. But all other levels are very hard to get to put things in and take things out. Look at the item and imagine that you are trying to move the item to a higher level the same way you can move it to a lower level. It is impossible! You have to slide them in and out from the side, which requires turning the hanger on its side (out of the closet). and is easy to take out and if I hadn't left it longer than the 30 day return window before trying it I would return it. Can be used to store off-season clothing that hangs unused for months but not worth the hassle for regular use.
