Review on K&N Cold Air Intake Kit for 2012-2018 Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler JK 3.6L V6 (63-1566): Enhance Performance and Boost Horsepower by Jason Olguin

Unsatisfied, poor quality control by K&N. Much of the hardware was faulty and missing, resulting in installation times being much longer than expected. The installation instructions were kind of awkward too. The worst part of the job is the crankcase breather hose. They want you to put a 5/8 hose on a 3/4 fitting. Won't happen, quick and easy fix, use a standard crankcase hose and buy a porter fitting part number 47080 and 2 hose clamps. Save yourself a lot of time and make it much easier for yourself. See attached photo. I like it, I definitely like the way it sounds. Throttle response is definitely better, not everyone worried about gas mileage is hoping that pulling my trailer will give me more horsepower. There is no way I can give 5 stars due to missing parts and crappy instructions.
