I bought these to replace my pair of shoes that I had for over 10 years because they were falling apart. I tried different options and brands before settling on this one. I regularly bike to work and have been looking for shoes with softer soles and good grip on polished indoor floors. I've ridden it just over 500 miles so far and haven't had any issues with the build. Like everyone these days, I'm sure there are bad things that fail. I'm also someone who likes tight but loose shoes. I've never been a fan of very tight shoes, so maybe that helped a bit. In terms of weight, I think they're a bit too heavy compared to others, but not enough to notice or really care. They're made for mountain biking or commuting, so the weight didn't bother me when searching. I paid more attention to other aspects like sole construction and fit.
