A cool affordable and interesting lens. The only thing, I didn’t understand it on the crop, is that the equivalent focal length of 64 mm is too large for a standard (“normal”) lens, but not enough for a portrait lens, and the aperture is not enough for a beautiful blur (bokeh). A good zoom, especially a fast one, as a standard lens is a great alternative. At full frame, I really liked the lens as a light, inconspicuous staff lens for non-portrait photography of people (events, premises, genre, friendly meetings, group shooting, etc.), it is also good due to the greater depth of field for landscapes relative to fifty dollars. An excellent pair to the classic fifty dollars, which works on bokeh. With regards to focus jamming after pressing on the retractable part of the lens, the problem is solved at the software level. Lenses with a serial number with a third digit of 3 or more are already devoid of this glitch, for those with a third digit of 0.1 and 2, you can reflash the lens in the service or with the latest cameras that came out simultaneously with the lens or later (Canon 650D, 700D, 70D , 5D mark III, 6D). And you can not reflash while it works. I recommend buying a full-frame camera for photography.
