Review on Dorman 917-173 VVT Solenoid Gasket for Honda Models - Engine Variable Valve Timing by Tyler Owens

The solenoid gasket with filter was thicker than the gasket without filter installed. The thickness of the unfiltered gasket was below average and could not protect the block from oil leakage. I'm not sure why there is a large discrepancy in the thickness of these two gaskets as they must be the same to properly seal the unit and prevent oil from leaking out. Next time I will buy goods elsewhere.
