BUYERS ATTENTION! This is a great LED travel light. However, without knowing anything, I bought the first set for daily use in my office. In the last 2 years I have bought (4) with the recommended power supply. And all four have already earned in a few months. I think it's just bad luck, Revane replaced a set but last night I found again that both are now defective. AGAIN. This time I called Ottlight. Here is her explanation. These lights are designed to run on batteries (portable) ONLY. I've been told that the power supply listed on Revain has too high a voltage and will burn out the LEDs in a few hundred hours. Ottlite reported that they WARN Revain not to sell a power supply for this unit as there is no power supply on the market that will work without burning out the LED panel. Ottlite was very helpful and replaced it with a brand new AC desktop LED that will last for years!
