This portable monitor is a little mixed. The screen quality is pretty good considering how portable this thing is. The menu navigation could be better, but there aren't really many options that you need to access regularly, so that's forgivable. However, the speaker's low volume is a big bummer. This is a portable speaker. Inevitably, on ANY JOURNEY, there is so much noise around you that these speakers are woefully inadequate without seriously boosting the volume. Regardless of what device(s) you connect this monitor to, you'll probably want to crank the volume up to at least double what you can get with your standard volume control, whether through an app or otherwise. I'm torn between recommending this. I mean, if you're using a device that lets you download an app to increase the volume, THIS DEVICE is probably louder than this one to begin with. If you're already familiar with your existing portable device and sound setup, you might just stick with it.
