I have no experience with projectors so I don't have a benchmark to compare so these are my impressions of a complete noob. I was very impressed with this little projector. The device itself looks very high quality - it is small, looks great and is very high quality processed. It works exactly as expected with no big surprises. I think it will meet the needs of most people looking for a basic, quality mini projector, but there are a few downsides for me personally. Pros: - Native 1080p resolution. Why is it so hard to find? - The picture is excellent, the brightness is sufficient in the dark (don't need total darkness, but close) - Projects well on a wall or ceiling. The included tripod makes it easy to point and hold in any direction. - AC powered, battery optional. - Fairly quiet, less noise than a typical laptop fan. The device almost does not heat up. Easy to use, handy remote control, everything works as expected. HDMI works very well if ever the software disappoints. Cons: No horizontal keystone correction (vertical only). Big problem for me because I have sloping walls. The battery lasts 1 hour. You can lower the brightness setting to probably squeeze out more battery, but it's only 200 lumens, so I can't imagine ever wanting to dim the brightness. - Wi-Fi only connects to 2.4GHz (not 5GHz). It took me too long to figure out why it couldn't find my 5GHz SSID. The software isn't bad, but it can be clunky at times. Navigating apps and typing with the remote can be tedious, just like other typical devices. When I installed Disney+ from the Play Store, it was not possible to navigate the app with the remote control. It looks like the app didn't understand the input or something. The remote mobile app just couldn't stay connected to the projector and couldn't find it after disconnecting (maybe my router?). The projector and the device running the remote application must be on the same Wi-Fi network, which is cumbersome.
