* Updated 12-01-2021 * The fatal disadvantage of this design is that the buckle that keeps the collar at the desired length is made of plastic. The knot was chewed useless in less than three months. I like the collar. The locking mechanism seems strong BUT I bought the collar hoping two dogs playing wouldn't be able to open the latch. You can. The metal clasp is a deterrent, but if they enjoy playing tug of war with their collars, it won't snap into place.
