Little did I know when I bought this machine that it was only for embossing. But since I'm new to the world of stamping and embossing, I should have done some research before purchasing. But I wanted to work directly with some of the stamped parts I bought, so I bought them without studying. However, after purchasing it I watched some YouTube videos which also show how to use your stamps on a Sizzix Boutique machine. I'll probably get a Big Shot die along with the Sizzix Boutique machine. I look forward to purchasing more embossing folders for use in the boutique. It is very difficult for me to use the boutique. I have advanced arthritis in my hands so it's not the boutique's fault, it's hard to use. My 30 year old daughter also used it and she confirms that it was difficult to use. (It's hard to turn the handle. I still like it despite the issues, which I don't consider a design issue.
