Nearly Five Stars: Tools and Equipment

The storage case is well made and should last a long time. The tools are also decently made and should last a long time if not abused. However, the bar that acts as a loop doesn't fit snugly and allows for quite a bit of side-to-side lateral movement. Also, the surface was deburred and slightly warped on the sharper edges where the tool enters the fitting. I had to clean up those edges before I started using it. The first two photos show some ridges. Look for sharp edges to see burrs. Sorry the photos aren't the best - I only had my phone's camera at work. Lisle makes some decent instruments and this one would get five stars if the workmanship was better or the price lower. I buy a lot of tools and I understand when the quality justifies the price. This tool does not live up to expectations. I have also included pictures of the inside and outside of the fitting as well as the clip that needs to be pulled apart to remove the fitting. I used it to replace turbos on a 2014 Ford F-150 EcoBoost. It was tight, but this tool allowed me to remove the top piping without removing the vacuum pump. Certain time savings. I recommend this tool and will buy it again.
