We were very happy to get them as our old cleaner fell apart. plus the video made the plastic nozzle super handy. In fact, it's quite difficult to hold a slippery vegetable with your bare hands and press it directly onto an oblique blade. Changing a regular blade to a straw is easy, but the locking mechanism doesn't want to stay locked. (Also, the small cleaning brush that came with the kit doesn't physically fit between the blades). The little bonus cleaner has no issues and is actually a saving grace allowing me to give the product an overall rating of 3.
