I recommend these candles.
I bought these candles for our windows at Christmas but I'll keep them all winter because they look nice at night and give off a nice glow (we have a lot of windows). You have to soak the suction cups in hot tap water for a minute or two to make them stick to the window and I only had trouble with one of them but it ended up sticking perfectly. The remote works very well and the timer is great in terms of convenience and battery saving. Each candle requires 1 AA battery.
