It's so stiff it can't be adjusted when clamped. The clamp cannot withstand the torque required to adjust the lever. The clamp doesn't even hold it in a static position when there's torque from gravity because it's so heavy. If you see how deep the "C" portion of the clamp is, you'll see that it sits right on the edge of any support structure, and if it's not solid metal, you'll likely rip the support structure before you can get enough grip to support it. Such a stiff hand may be appropriate for certain heavy-duty applications, but even then you will be disappointed with the clamp's construction. What a terrible waste of weight and metal.
